    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: May 15, 2026

    1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our services, or contact us.

    • • Account information (email, password)
    • • Profile information (name, preferences)
    • • Content you create using our platform
    • • Usage data and analytics

    2. How We Use Your Information

    • • To provide and improve our services
    • • To personalize your experience
    • • To communicate with you about our services
    • • To ensure platform security and prevent fraud

    3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information — including any data obtained through third-party platform APIs — to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy (e.g., to process payments or fulfill the core functionality of our service).

We do not use data obtained from Meta's Instagram API to serve advertising, nor do we share such data with data brokers or ad networks.

    4. Instagram and Meta Platform Integration

Facelessly integrates with the Instagram Graph API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you connect your Instagram account, we request only the permissions necessary to deliver our publishing features. These permissions currently include:

    • instagram_basic — to read your Instagram account profile and username
    • instagram_content_publish — to publish Reels and feed videos to your Instagram account on your behalf
    • pages_read_engagement — to read basic engagement metrics (likes, comments, reach) on content published via Facelessly
    • pages_show_list — to identify the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business or Creator account

What data we access: Through these permissions we may access your Instagram username, profile picture, account ID, and performance metrics (views, likes, comments, reach) for content you publish using our platform.

How we use this data: This data is used solely to display your connected account details within the app, to publish content on your behalf when you initiate a post, and to show you analytics for posts made through Facelessly. We do not use this data for any other purpose.

Token storage and security: When you authorize Facelessly to access your Instagram account, Meta issues us an OAuth access token. This token is stored securely in our database using industry-standard encryption and is never exposed in client-side code or transmitted to unauthorized parties.

Data retention: We retain your Instagram access token and associated profile data for as long as your account remains active and your Instagram connection is enabled. If you disconnect your Instagram account or delete your Facelessly account, your token and associated Instagram data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Revoking access: You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from the "Connect Socials" section of your Facelessly dashboard. You may also revoke Facelessly's access directly from your Facebook App Settings. Revoking access will immediately prevent Facelessly from publishing to or reading data from your Instagram account.

For information on how Meta handles your data independently of Facelessly, please refer to Meta's Privacy Policy.

    5. TikTok Platform Integration

Facelessly also integrates with the TikTok API. When you connect your TikTok account, we request permissions to publish videos on your behalf and to read basic account and analytics data. TikTok access tokens are stored and handled with the same security standards described above for Instagram.

You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from the "Connect Socials" section of your dashboard. For more information on how TikTok handles your data, please refer to TikTok's Privacy Policy.

    6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, HTTPS-only data transmission, and access controls limiting who can view user data within our organization.

    7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage patterns, and provide personalized content.

    8. Your Rights

    • • Access your personal information
    • • Correct inaccurate information
    • • Delete your account and all associated data, including any cached social platform data
    • • Export your data
    • • Disconnect any connected social platform account at any time

    9. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party platforms including Meta (Instagram) and TikTok. This privacy policy governs how we handle data. Each third-party platform operates under its own independent privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.

    10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Facelessly after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

    11. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise any of your data rights, please contact us at privacy@facelessly.ai.
